Free web host either limit your account so you can't fully use it ( not sql access, visitor limit, etc ) or they add banners around your website. If you don't afford to spend 3-4$ for a shared hosting, maybe you should try to host your website at wordpress.com or blogspot.com for starting up. Don't rely on those either because they may ban your account for affiliate linking or other blackhat related stuff.

The ones that spring to mind are Byethost, Freehostia and 000WebHost (all .com).

These are longstanding, fairly reliable ones that don't put any free advertising on your pages, and can look perfectly professional.

They each have relative advantages and disadvantages.

If you don't want self-hosted WordPress blogs but want something with a free, built-in site-builder, other places to look include Weebly, Yola, Jimdo, Jigsy, WebNode and WebStarts.

Always read the terms of service carefully.

I think it's fair comment that a free host is unlikely, in the long run, to be as safe or reliable as one you pay for.

The ones to stay away from (because of the terms of service, policies and procedures) are Blogger/Blogspot, wordpress.com, Squidoo and HubPages.

hmmm how can i address this problem.

    Ok, here it is.

Best can't be followed by FREE webhosting, simply because free webhosting is a bad idea.

That's expensive. You can easily pay $2 to $6 at Stablehost, and it's a better host.
If you need "unlimited" then use Site5 or Arvixe.

Have you tried using Weebly? If you are looking to build a business website or even a personal website to showcase your hobbies or interests, Weebly can help you accomplish your goals with very little technical knowledge on your part.

With anything that free you won't getting any support, and most likely a lot of limitations, used a paid service you will thank us later...

I've been with a UK company called 5quidhost for years. They do offer a free package which includes:

      35 MB disk space
      1 x MySQL database
      100 MB per month bandwith
      Unlimited email, FTP and Subdomains

I know it's not a lot but hey, it's free and the quality of their support is excellent.

      All the best.

I use Freehostia just because I know they support scripting, I think they even have themes/wysiwyg+easy script support so I always tend to go with them. Paid I used to go with HostGator but I've heard they've sold out or are going to so not so sure about them.

I like DreamHost but comparatively the price is just too much unless it's on one of their sale days.

I'm not a fan of free web hosts, there seems to always be either a catch, or poor service.

    I personally like bluehost.com
