I saw some youtube videos regards transfering Wordpress website to another hosting. But each and every video shows a different methods of transfering website.. Little confused..

Im using hostgator ,
which is the simple way to transfer wordpress website with domain to another Host ? can anybody help me ?

You might want to try the Duplicator plugin, it's free and a lifesaver for moving, backing up wordpress websites

I would just copy all the files I had for the entire directory and save them on your computer then upload them to your new host.

The easiest way is to clone your Wordpress site to the new server. I use backup creator plugin, but there is also free plugin for this.

I have already said it several times and I will say it again. Only use WP backup plugins if you don't have access to SSH (I still wouldn't use those plugins since they are a serious security issue).

If you have access to SSH it's as easy as using the SCP command (look it up) and transferring all the files from server to server. Then just modify the configuration file and restore your MySQL database. This is 100% secure, keeps your permissions and is extremely fast. I have moved huge websites in less than 10 minutes using this method.

I forgot to mention, always zip your public_html folder first in order to keep permissions and make your transfer even faster.

Just use a plugin like wp backup, there tons of them and you can easily transfer it.
