I am sick to the back teeth of trying to get PayPal buttons to center... please, please, please can someone let me in on the secret????:confused:

  Thanks, but I have tried that and still every time I publish the post it just goes back to left justified.. I have searched everywhere online and so many people have the same issue but no one seems to be able to figure it out...

Use just your image first. Center the image.
Then link to the image using the email link for the PayPal button. It is just an https link. That way you aren't trying to center Paypal code - just the image.

Ah. Wordpress can be a pain in the ass.

I think you have to use the advanced editor, click on the image, then center it using their control bar at the top of the editor.

Then make sure the image is still selected & click the hyperlink button to link to your payment page.

At least I THINK that's how I did it when I was using WP.

edit: yep, appears I was right after reading Tim's post.

  aha okay! that all sounds much better... how do I find the email link for the PayPal button though? I use my own image in the PayPal setup but I don't see how to do the email link thing?

I forget exactly how I came up with it, but I'm pretty sure it involved alcohol

As for getting the paypal code - inside the code PP gives you, you'll see a link for their own image, and then a link for where it leads the user when they click it.

Copy that URL for where it sends them, not the one for their image.

When you create the paypal button, where the code is, click the "email" tab above the code and it gives you a one line link, then just use that as your target for the buy now image.... (e.g. <div style="text-align:center"><a href="paypallink"><img src="http://image"></a></div>)

After you add the <center> code stay in the HTML/text area (don't switch to visual) and publish/update from there and it should stay.

Or you can try using the plugin Anyvar, it usually helps with finicky code.
