Is there a WordPress plugin to hide all post metadata (without hacking the theme)

I'm looking for a WordPress plugin that will allow me to hide the following on all posts in a specific category:
  • The Post title
  • The line below the post title. Example: "Posted on August 30, 2012 by Arnold 0 Comments"
  • Line one below the post. Example: "Filed Under: somestuff"
  • Line two below the post. Example: "Sorry, comments are closed for this post."

I realize not all of this looks the same in different themes, but I'm hoping there is some plugin out there that can do this without needing to edit theme files manually.

I'm thankful for any suggestions!

That's based on the theme you are using and there's no way for a plugin to robustly do that across a variety of themes. So I'm afraid you're stuck editing the theme or picking a theme that does this out of the box or makes it configurable.

You are right, there doesn't seem to be any plugins that can do this across a variety of themes.

I got the problem solved for my own site, though. I'm building it using the headway theme, and figured out that the theme actually allows me to adjust this for posts.
