After coaching students for many years one of the things I find is that keeping a constant flow of content into their website is a real problem.

Why target Content? I will explain in a minute.

I have also noticed it in this forum that people are always looking for the quick fix and yet Google and most of the other places that send you traffic do this because of content.

Quick fixes are fine in the short term however if there any good you will find it peaks out very quickly as everyone jumps on it then it gets diluted. Over the last 10 years we have seen some great ideas in this forum which have worked however they are no longer valid because of the dilution problem.

The only constant is content.

Lets face it people get onto the net to find information. It might be about products, services, opportunities or something else but in the end it will be a search for content.

Social marketing is no good unless you have some good content that is applicable to market in the first place. We see lots of posts etc that are all about the processes but very little about what the processes are linked to.

Well one of the ways to help in the process of getting content onto your site is simplifying how you get it there.

I have been using a little free desktop program called Blogdesk that lets me simply fire it up and send content to my blog without needing to open the browser, go to the site, login, go to the post link and then start writing.

Setting up simple systems to make you work smarter will help you be more productive and get more sales on a sustainable level.

I made this simple video on how I post to my blog using this free piece of software and it has allowed me to be more productive, add content on a regular basis and keep the visitors flowing.
