What is Your GREATEST Internet Marketing "AHA" Moment?

Yes, that one AHA moment which gave you goosebumps and born again experience! Or maybe not that intense but surely a nourishing shift in perspective or clear understanding. You should have had a lot of them from your experience, some great some humble! Share one if you can. Your AHA could be of great help for others..

Here's one, not my greatest but worth sharing AHA I've had from legendary copy-writing expert Gary Halbert. In sales copy, it is advised to avoid words such as 'but' frequently. So instead of 'but', use 'and' - see more conversions.

Your turn, Warrior!

My Most "AHA" moment was When I saw My First three sales on My PayPal account With my first mail to my email list.

That Was the most amazing moment in my life which I can never forget. That gave me a new inspiration, a New hope to carry on My Internet Marketing Business because I was Close to quit it If would've failed.

The key point to success is that you should never lose hope and confidence to move forward and do something better and different.

When I got my head around the fact people don't buy things they buy benefits. They don't buy drills, they buy holes. They don't buy energy-efficienct light bulbs, they buy savings on their electricity bill.

Are you selling light bulbs sir? No, we're selling you savings on your electricity bill

No, don't sell them a shovel or gold - sell them wealth and everything that comes with it!

My GREATEST Internet Marketing "AHA" Moment when I saw 3 sell taken place for the first time. It was about 2 years ago and was my first income from internet.

For some reason, for the longest time.. I was against using social media for promotion. Or maybe I wasn't against it, maybe just lazy.. I was never the type of guy to look at links or anything that looked like a promotion, whether it was posted by a friend or not.. so why would other people?

Then I started using tumblr, facebook etc.. and saw a huge jump in traffic.. then I thought damn, I should had done this sooner.

Also, I take for granted the types of things people search for on the internet. The types of ads people click.. and how many people actually click on ads, or want to buy certain things.

It's like my last garage sale.. "there's no way in hell ANYONE is going to buy that..". Sure enough, someone does.

When I started advertising a Clickbank product and started making 1 sale / day. It was awesome for me and a moment I'll never forget. Despite the fact that I only made $19 per sale, it inspired me to keep going and eventually create my own product which has made me a lot more.

I realize there were on amazon a lot of bogus five star reviews.

For example, I tired of seeing generic reviews.

    Here is one:
The author created a dynamic book that is truly amazing. Characters are well defined, plot is tight, and setting is very unique. In fact, you will be on the edge of your seat with the fast pacing. Today is a brand new day in an exciting universe. Step into a bold new voyage.
I think you can use this review for 99% of the fiction books on amazon.

That there is no real "get rich quick" thing, except winning the lottery of course, and of course, the real power of internet marketing is in the "LIST"!

build a list and nurture them.

I put that off for 3 god damn years..what a mistake.

BUILD LIST that is how the big gurus do it, and make a killing online, so I follow along, and do very well for myself.

Niche marketing is the greatest skill to have. You could put up a targeted offer on a phone poll and have a targeted person walk up to it - and get them to visit your site, call you, or order from you.

My biggest AHA moment was when I finally got my first lead and started building my list. Of course my first sale was pretty awesome, but when I first saw the power of having a list, it was my biggest breakthrough

my biggest AHA moment, was when I realized that I didn't need to be the expert.

When I first started out, I thought that I had to know everything about everything.

And the growth of my business kept getting caught up and slowed down by things I didn't know and felt I had to spend time learning about.

So once I learned and truly started to understand that I didn't need to be the expert, and that I could hire experts in areas where I was weak, this not only lifted a huge amount of weight off of my shoulders, but it also greased the rails allowing the growth and success of my business to speed up exponentially

For me, it was when I bought Tiffany Dow's "Ghoswriting Cash Course" and got my first clients! I realized the potential and that you could really earn while learning. I also had an "Aha" moment when I watched Craig Desorcy's videos! He is so comforting and his words fill you up with energy!

My first commissions from CB were quite good too but nothing like when I set up my blog and got my first clients + some really good feedback! It feels GOOD!

    Have a great day

I mentioned mine in another post: it was when I discovered how EASY it is to run a webinar, and how much more engaged people are when you are a 'live' human being as opposed to a name and email address. I would recommend webinars.

For me it was seeing my first complete page of paypal sales after setting up a membership site.

I had been struggling to make money for sometime and it was the greatest feeling...other than when I met my Wife for the first time and seeing my children being born.

I don't know that it was an all at once AHA but I realized a few years ago that you have to engage real people, and SEO is of little value until your site is of a high enough quality that it will grow without SEO. There are many WSOs that prey on people's lack of understanding of this concept.

My latest AHA moment was actually in the last couple of days. I recently brought
Alex Jeffreys new course - The Money Trigger. This gave me a new outlook on my Internet Marketing business.

In the course - Alex Jeffreys says, "If your not marketing your not making money."
This was an AHA moment for me because there is a lot of us struggling to make money online. But, constantly buying the latest shiny object doesn't make you a marketer. It makes you a prospect.

There is no way you are "MARKETING YOURSELF ONLINE" if you are constantly buying the latest shiny object. The key is to take action.

Taking action is a simple action, but it is a lot of us that do not take action. From now on I plan to take action and go from prospect to marketer.

Good decision, Alex has been my mentor for several months now, I already had a degree of success online, but Alex has helped me take that onto another level. Are you going to the seminar in May?

My big AHA moment was when I decided to remove all dependence on google or other search engines for website traffic. Where as before I was spending countless hours on seo for 1500 visits a month I can now churn out a few websites a day that quickly get a few hundred visits a day. Plus they are converting better.

I post something more visual to my blog rather than just a boring article. The traffic goes up and it never been like that for a while. my AHA is when I realize my reader is someone who appreciate visual post. I am a wordpress user and if you're a blogger too, you probably ought to use more picture to boost up people's interest.

The aha moment for me was to realise the internet marketing world is not really a competitve environment if you look at it from a different angle. Many people try to tell you to stay ahead of your competitors and beat them while it's much more rewarding to work together with them. That's the most valuable lesson i've learned.
