is it Fear of rejection?.. now what next..

I have noticed a trend with myself over the last few years that I feel has stopped me from achieving my online marketing goals.

I would always get a sudden burst of inspiration, and spend days working on a project, pouring everything I had into it at the time anyway. Then it seems when I get to the crucial last step to really put the project out there, I stall.

I am not a shy person by any stretch.. in my other life I'm a wanna be rapper who club hops and rips stages...

But for some reason.. I start to think the whole thing is just "corny"
What do I really have to offer? they won't be interested.. no one will get it. I'm stupid for even wasting my time...

IT all rushes in and slowly I find myself abandoning the project with the perfect distraction.. well look.. there's this other project I could work on that now all of a sudden makes way more sense and seems more lucrative...

Well I've decided to put a stop to that by completing a project I was first inspired to start 2 years ago.

I built this website from scratch ( well microsoft visual studio ) and even taught myself to program in order to do so because I liked the idea so much, but had no money and it's an unconventional type of forum.

Its a system I've used for years to prepare for debates where I would define each key fact and chart them out in supporting and negating relationships. and then try to tie them together in a web.

By going through and rating the key points and their relevance to the discussion I always got a wide angle so to speak grasp of the topic.

I figured I could turn that idea into an online relational encyclopedia that collected facts from users and mapped their relationships to each other.

I wanted to know what you think will help me attract users and contributors to this website.

I tried to make the pot sweeter by allowing links in posts and all members got dofollow links.

I have a lot of traffic, but not a lot of new members and contributors..
