Out of the Norm, What Mouse do you like?

Hey everyone,
I know this isn't generally what people are talking about but it really is part of marketing online. We all spend a lot of time at our confusers and of coarse our hand is always around our favorite mouse.

I'm looking at getting a new mouse and like the sounds of the MX Revolution.

Any thoughts on this mouse or any mice at all for that matter.
Thanks very much for your thoughts on this!

I'm old school when it comes to mice. I use the wireless laser ones. I never understood those trackerball ones. They confused me.

The Revolution is a wireless laser. Retail its a $100 mouse although I can get it cheaper its a purchase that I want to research first.

I use the MX Revolution Nano with my laptop - could not recommend it higher. Logitech really makes good mice (most of the time).

One of the features that I really like is being rechargeable!
The MX revolution is a free spinning wheel for zooming through docs and the wheel actually tilts from side to side to look at the wide docs you see sometimes.

It looks super comfy so I was hoping someone had used one that could tell me how it feels?

      Thanks

I clicked on your thread so I could tell you how great the MX Revolution is, but apparently you've heard! It is so comfortable and very customizable. I'm spoiled now and won't use anything else. You can program all the buttons on it to do different things and it makes repetitive tasks much quicker. I absolutely love mine and everyone I've let use it loves it too!

That's the kind of info I was looking for! I've read online its a great mouse but nothing like getting it from a real person.

      Thanks very much!

I hate touchpads. Currently using a Microsoft mouse with my HP laptop. It's one of those few things Microsoft does really, really well.

I do all of my work on my laptop now, but I still carry a wired mouse with me. I just never got into the touchpad.

I'm not sure about brands (I currently use a Logitech), but I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone to stay far away from a mouse with a ball in it. One little particle of dust will throw the whole thing off. HATE those things!!

Any mouse with a laser is what I would recommend.

I like Mickey Mouse but I think Mini Mouse is really cute! :p

I mostly use a touch pad although on my desktop system I
      use the MX Revolution.

I use a logitech gaming mouse that lets you adjust the speed the cursor moves at, and I usually have it set at twice the normal travel distance. For the laptop people, check out the Lenovo trackpoint. It's a small red joystick in the middle of Lenovo keyboards. You push it one way and that's the way the cursor moves. Push it harder and it moves farther and faster. By the second push I preferred it to the touch pad and maybe even to a mouse. Those were the only 2 pushes I gave it (on someone else's machine) but now I understand if you push down it clicks too. Am hoping to get one of their laptops soon.

I like the MS wireless Intellimouse because it fits my hand perfectly. I think that's the most important thing, find one that feels natural to you. You can test the fit at any big office store chain like Staples.

Wireless Logitech Rollerball. Just need to move your thumb around. I have used the same type mouse for the past 5 years. Only started using the wireless version in the past two years or so.

Logitech gaming mouse also. Comes with weights to vary the heft of the mouse. Page forward and back buttons are very useful. The adjustable sensitivity buttons right on the mouse are great too.

I guess their really isn't one mouse that clearly stands out above the rest. I did hear MX Revolution a couple of time though.....

Also that Comfort is Priority, and I agree with that but the new mice are pretty cool! I look forward to getting a really good one!

Several of you act like laptops and Mice don't mix, I want a nice mouse to use with my laptop because I'm getting tired of this Toshiba touchpad.

I'm going to the store and check out the ones everybody here's using.
      Thanks very much!

I'm a bit old school and like a corded mouse so I go with a logitech G5. It has adjustable DPI and you can slip a weighted cartridge into it to make it as light or as heavy as you feel comfortable with. There is a wireless version available, I think it is the G6 but it does not have the weighted cartridge.

    Wow...This is a great subject.

I have had this mouse a while...and it works just great! You know...they just dont build them like they used to.

Microsoft Natural Wireless Laser 6000. The larger size and shape does seem more natural.
