How to use my users as markating force for me?

by jkiley 5 replies
I have a website which gets about 4000-5000 users a day. I am trying to figure out what I can do so that they become my marketing force?

Currently I have about 8500 FB fans. I am thinking that I will give a random user 100 dollars if we get 15K FB fans.

But I am looking for better ideas. What can I do so that they do free marketing for me. I am already trying to add all the features which they are looking for.

It depends on what the niche is. If it is a product or service, what better prize is there to give away your own product or service that your fans already appreciate.

It is a virtual pet site. Site is free for them to use. Here is the link to the site Squiby | Online Virtual Pet Adoptable | Create Virtual Pets

From my own experience this sort of thing doesn't work very well.

Why would users want to promote your page and in turn decrease their chances of winning the prize as more fans join your page.

If you want to increase your fans nice and quickly then start posting entertaining content at least 2-3 times a day... and do it religiously.

Post images since they stand out the most. Use meme,s funny images, controversial images... anything that is related to your niche.

As people comment on and share those images you will see your number of fans go up quite quickly.

You are right but I am not sure if that is doable for me. It is a site of virtual pets and coming up with funny stuff 2-3 times a day is very hard.

any other idea? I am willing to spend few hundred dollars.

Notice that you said hard not impossible. A lot of stuff is hard but you gotta do it.

Sit down and search for content like I mentioned.

You can then schedule your posts for the next 20-30 days ahead so they happen each and every day automatically. This way you only need to spend a few hours every 20-30 days to find the content and schedule the posts and the rest is automated.

Getting your fans engaged in your page and content is definitely the best way to do this. If you struggle to find any useful content to share then it may not be a very good niche to be in. What's the point of a fan page if you can't engage your fans.
