Help - Problems with Godaddy

I had an account open for about 4 years or so. I had just one domain there, but later added 2 more. In october of last year I renewed 2 of the domain names, letting 1 of them drop because I wasnt using it any more. At that time, I updated all information on the account to reflect my new address..etc.

On march 3rd of this year, i suddenly get emails from godaddy saying my account has been closed and the domains cancelled. I have been going back and forth now for going on 2 months with godaddy's change department through email. Everytime i send them an email, they want a change form filled out, i fill it out and i get another email saying that this form is required, i fill out the next form and get another email that starts the process from the beginning again. suffice to say im going around in circles.

I call to the customer service line, talk to a phone rep thats about as useful as a poopy flavored lollipop, who then transfers me over to a supervisor that gives me a lot of 'uh huh..yeah...mmmm hmm' and then can do nothing but recite the company policy.

There is no direct line to the change department, i can only talk to them through email. I dont know what else to do. Is there another entity that i can go to that will handle this?

I dont care about the account, I just want the two domain names I have paid for.

You might try posting on Bob Parsons' blog (the founder of Godaddy.)

I did that once (I don't recall what about) -- and I got a call back from "the president's office." I wasn't home at the time and I didn't return the call -- but I was impressed with the response.

I'd say something like -- "I'm in a Catch-22 -- all I can seem to get from the Change Department is another change form to fill out. Can you cut this Gordian Knot for me!"

Putting in stuff about being a loyal satisfied customer (in the past) -- if true, also helps.

    Cheers!

Good luck with your problem... I've read some people about having problems with godaddy, but no complains yet about namecheap. As for myself i'll keep registering my domains with namecheap
