Need Help Getting Back On Track

Well, I am here to admit that I have fallen victim to the shiny object syndrome over the past few years. While I've been able to maintain a small income to supplement my full time job, I am no where near where I was 6 years ago when I started.

I'm asking the community to jump start me back into making money online. However, I'm currently suffering from paralysis by analysis due to all the news about recent Google changes.

Can you please give me a solid outline as to what still is profitable today? I think I know what it is, but as a father, husband and full time employee, the thought of chasing my tail down the wrong path is what is keeping me from just going for it.

Any advice / plan is much appreciated.

    What are you doing now to create your supplemental income? I think a starting point will be needed for people to help you. Easier to increase what you're doing already than to start fresh.

    Build a LIST !!
    Once you've built your list..
    keep adding to it..
    while also promoting products.

      Gotta agree with Ted on this one. But in the short term I would focus on what makes you stand out from the crowd and then let the people know you are here and available to help them out.

      Agreed, although nothing is guaranteed....product creation and list building is the safest plan in my opinion. Google can change, facebook and twitter can go out of style, and just about every other "loophole" can fall apart, but finding people that have a problem and helping them solve it will always be around.
