Hi warriors,

I am going to start an international modelling website. Before that, I would like to know your online marketing success stories for inspiration & guidelines.

Did you have a coach? Was it really hard at the beginning? Did you start it part - time? Did you make a big investment? How long have you been in internet marketing? How much do you earn now (I mean - if you don't mind to tell us - We will not inform the tax authorities - Promise )

Is it still a one man / woman operation or do you have employees and an office? Did you start online marketing for an established business or did you directly start online marketing?

How much time did it take you to start making profits? What are your successful website(s)?
Which country do you belong to?

    I started IM almost 3 years back.

    Started with SEO and then used to work at $150 per month working as seo executive in a company.

    Apart from that I didnt had any job.

    Then came the economic recession and I was without a job.

    I finally decided that I will be my own boss and I took coaching from a respected Internet marketer at $500 for 8 sessions.

    I managed to get clients with that training.

    The training was basically social media training.

    After that I used to earn around $600 per month and used to spend around $120 on IM products every month.

    Finally I took a big leap and started with affiliate marketing.
    3 months of researching and reading about affiliate marketing, I took another coaching at $600 which helped me to create my websites.

    I now consistently earn around $1500 as affiliate commissions and additional $600 through clients.

    Not much but still I am happy and satisfied that I am a self entrepreneur.

    I also have 2 VA'S now who do SEO for my clients while I use some automated tools.

    Overall, a good journey and I would suggest you to get a coach.

    Thanks a lot HarrieB. Who were your coaches? I would also want to take coaching. But, at present, I am doing a short term course; so I want a little bit of time before attending coaching sessions. Also probably, I can opt online coaching only. I am from India.

    By the way, which are your successful websites?

      My coach was also from India and now he is in Canada.

      He does consulting these days so coaching is something which he may/may not provide depending upon his schedule.

      My successful websites are all based on Clickbank and amazon.

      I am ranking on the front page so getting 10-20 sales every month per website which amounts to $300-$600 from one site.

      I have 5 sites.

    It is pretty much depends on which path you would walked.

    I would said any cooperation sounds good, but then in some cases.
    Not all partner worked with one will.

    I started IM since 2008, it was tough time learning. I read post from other member everyday and guess what are they thinking, then I keep figuring figuring and this seem pretty improves myself.

    It sounds boring but, you know IM is about patience, you need to repeatly reading, learning, testing, etc. Money won't come easily to your pocket, your hard efforts are need.

        No, I choose to disagree. I haven't seen any such threads myself. Ok, I could have searched those keywords here. But, I wanted to hear the latest stories.

        But, I now seriously think that the number of Full time Internet Marketers here are very much less as I expected, earlier. May be I am wrong.

        By the way, I was just kidding (and bumping my thread also) in the post you quoted.
