Huge Problem!

Do you spend to much time reading on the forum and not working enough! I know I do and its a huge problem!

Don't get mad at me, your the one reading the threads and not working

    Set yourself some time to do what you enjoy.. if this is part of that.. then do it!

    Then set other time for serious work! remove distractions! FB,WF,Phone etc... and work your ass off!

    You will always struggle if you don't remove distractions..

    Love this! You are right. It is very easy to get carried away in the forum. It's essential to be here, but you do have to pace and limit yourself. Even break it up throughout the day. As with any task you have to do, set your schedule so you keep yourself on track.

    Well I had full intentions of working my ass off today creating 5 new training videos for my downline and like always I come here everyday almost as a news source and before I knew it an hour has gone by and I didn't do anything!!!!

    Luckily I've got one training video done now ...

      Very true, all the knowledge I've gained here is way better than the thousands of dollars I invested in crappy MMO CB products

    There are much worse things you could be doing.

    At least there is a lot of knowledge being dropped and you are interacting with people who may be in the same position as you.

    Now browsing Facebook is another story...

      LOL so true, I use FB graph search a lot to find prospects/leads and it seems I end up looking through their pictures for 30 minutes before I actually send them a msg! Ugh cant live with or without my computer

    Forum posting can be HUGE for traffic, almost as HUGE as this distraction to everyone that I started lol.

    Even if you read through the forum for education it can be easy to get distracted.

    Sitting at the computer with access to YouTube, Netflix and email can be distracting (funny I don't get distracted by Facebook!).

    My trick is to write out what I want to accomplish for the day - be realistic about it [which I can do after weeks of testing what I can ACTUALLY accomplish in one day] and then unless an emergency has come up . . .

    . . . I don't go to bed until it's done.

    Ahhaa! Love that sense of humour! Hey, don't worry about it! Been there, done that! Most of us have! It's comforting to come and visit the forum but then you need to draw the line at some point, just like with everything else in life!

    A while back, I decided to visit the WF only in the evening after most of my tasks and work had been done! I sometimes visit it during the day as well, if I have a question to ask for instance!

    It's not BAD BAD to have it open all the time as long as you can focus on other tasks at the same time! Also, if you contribute and participate, then it's going to be a big plus if you are trying to grow your business!

    See what I mean? Don't feel guilty! Anyway, If you are reading this post, that means you're not doing your work!! :
