PPC and Banner Advertising useful at all?

Hi everyone,

I am trying to build my list. I am using solo ads. But, I would like to use a wide variety of traffic sources so that my list is responsive. I am just wondering whether I can use PPC and Banner advertising to build my list (in the internet marketing niche). Is it cheaper or expensive than solo ads? And are they really effective?

    It really depends on how much you ending up Paying Per Click and How your conversion rate is. Due to Adwords strigent policy , it is quite hard to get an approved campaign on internet marketing leading to a squeezepage. Actually , i know people who got banned from adwords due to this.

    It can be, but it generally requires a great deal of trial and error, testing and tracking, to get the numbers right.

    I can tell you,one thing using PPC for the IM niche-- will cost you a good amount of money or it can. Banners can work well, you need to find a site that, gets good amounts of traffic and then see how much it would cost, to get your banner on there for 15-30 days.

    Make sure that your banner(s) convert. This is done by testing different banners and see which one pulls in the best result.

    Both PPC and banner advertising are still working. You need to do experiment - test trial error for your niche which you get involved. If your budget is tight, consider smaller PPC networks. If people don't click, you will not get charged.

    With any traffic - its really important that you get your sales funnel and conversion right without this set up properly the traffic you bring to your site will be wasted.

    To answer your question I feel that both PPC and banner ads work very well for a lot of marketers I personally stay away from PPC but am quite a fan of Solo ads which I understand is what you're currently using.

    Al;so as mentioned in earlier posts you need to ensure that you track and test your traffic and conversions, then rinse and repeat.
