How do you monetize entertainment vids?

INTERNET MARKETING

It's my understanding its very hard to monetize things like comedy skits, car crashes, bar fights, things of that nature as people are only looking for entertainment and not to buy anything.

So I have a friend that has some top of the line video production/cameras and is very good.

Looking to produce videos, send them to webpage, opt in for something, and then monetize in some way!

Really...I think the best way to do it is via YouTube. They work with AdSense.

Build a following.

Design T-Shirts, stickers, whatever and sell those for additional income.

That's what I see most "big" YouTubers do.

It is hard to monetize videos if you are trying to generate a sale directly from the video, but people are willing to pay big bucks to advertise their offers next to videos.

In the adult video niche for example, you would think that the people viewing those videos aren't looking for anything beyond immediate gratification, but advertisers are willing to pay $85,722.60 for a 30-day ad or $29,000 for a 7-day ad on a "free porn video" page. (example)

People are not going to pay that kind of money if they are not making a profit on the placement of that ad.

As a producer or publisher, you should be selling advertising next to the videos and letting the advertisers figure out how to monetize the placement of that ad.

For non-adult niche, the best advertising network I could suggest to you is BuySellAds.com. There may be others that are better, but I don't yet know what they are.
