What would be reasonable to pay for a copywriter to look over 20 pages on a site for content/editing purposes? Web pages with like 300ish words. Please let me know.

    PS if you think that's too much, think about how quickly you would lose the respect of your potential customers if it doesn't read perfectly.

    You want a copywriter or an editor?

    Copywriters specialize in writing sales material.

    Or do you mean an editor? Someone who looks over your content to make sure you don't have any spelling or grammar mistakes?

    If you want a copywriter you might have to pay a a good chunk of change if you want them to look over it and give you feed back. Even more if you want them to look over it and rewrite the content for you.

    Korean might be offering to be an editor for you at that price, because any copywriter worth his weight wouldn't do that job for $50.

      It really depends on how clean your copy is to start with. If someone is looking for spelling and punctuation mistakes, any proofreader can do that - couple bucks a page.

      If you are wanting a functional semantic impact analysis and rewrite, you need to get a pro. Easy answer - take bids. You can decide from their portfolio if you think they're worth the price. You'll get an absolutely bizarre range of bids, so pick the best of the bids that you can afford.

    I still don't get it, if you seriously asking us to hire a copywriter to edit a content of 20 pages, you will pay way more than you need to expense. Go get yourself and editor that specialize in proofreading, I am sure that person can help you with your problem right now. But if you need someone who can give an advice about copy-writing in your site, you will need a copywriter.
