Are Solo Ads good for list building?

INTERNET MARKETING

Working on a new list. I've never used solo ads before so I'm curious has anyone built a list with them. I've built list with mobile ads but nothing else.

I know with all the experience some one has an opinion.

They are OK...

Not amazing... You want a buyers list if you are going to build a list! Unless you want to do other solo ad's (sell them)

Subscribers and freebie seekers will always be worth less to you then a buyers list.

Product creation and then launching it in to the market place is always a good way of building a buyers list

Sounds like im on the right path then. Already created a product. Just trying to findout the fastest way to get it out, and build a list at the same time of course

Hey Adam,

If you want a successful launch you will need a good JV partner. If you want to launch big you will also need to consider a JV Broker and Manager too. It will never work out by just posting it somewhere and expecting results...

Even if affiliates apply don't expect anything major to happen. So get involved with Product Launch Managers or something that can help get your foot in the right door.

Solo Ads are great, but you need to test, segment and work with your list. Don't rely on fiverr and get caught up for all the hype either. Ideally you want to find high quality solo ad sellers, with a buyers list and be sure to ask of any opinions from any recent offers because you still might get the clicks but the optins could be low if the last 3-4 emails that went out to that buyers list were all similar offers, so be sure to ask beforehand.

Well, solo ads are really good for building your list only if you have a decent list.
You mail for them and they mail for you and you guarantee each other a certain amount of clicks.That way you can both grow your list and it doesn't cost you anything.

You can join different groups in skype, arrange click swaps and guarantee that you can deliver certain amount of clicks. That's a way of growing your list that without paying for anything.

This is one of the secret in list building..

It depends on how tight of a fit there is between the list you are advertising to and the list you're building. Also, 'saturation' is a key factor to keep in mind.
