Embed Self-Hosted Video - Wordpress

INTERNET MARKETING

Hey guys

Im creating a 'VIP Lounge' for my subscribers, that will allow them to view unreleased video tutorials and resources not found on the main site or elsewhere.

As much as I love Wordpress, their lack of support for self-hosted videos is a tad annoying.. Ive tried out a couple of plugins, but nothing really worked to my liking.

Is there a method or plugin that the Warriors would recommend in this instance?

You may do better with putting your videos on a hosting site such as amazons3. It is very inexpensive and you don't bog down your site trying to keep them all there.

I have been looking to enhance this myself, with the added requirement of ideally having a player that works on both WP sites as well as non-WP sites.

I've done a fair amount of video in the past and used embedded players (like the one that gets generated with Camtasia for instance) or used 3rd party hosting like Youtube, Vimeo, etc...

Decided to get a more serious solution...here is what I've turned up so far, interested to see if you (or anyone reading) has tried any of these WSO products - likely to invest in one within the next day or two.

Understood 100% - I will only have a very small number of vids in the VIP section, so self-hosting will do for now; or until my site gets crippled!!
