What problems are you trying to solve? What goal are you working toward with your subscribers?

Your e-mails should provide solutions to 'hot' and common problems.

I am not sure if this is your first communication with your list or not, but I would not recommend selling them a product on your first communication. Others will disagree and that is OK too. It kind of reminds me of that long lost relative that never comes around until they want something from you. Where were they all this time? What connection do I have with those bums? I would start off by offering a free download to build your list and then work your way offering paid products. Your goal is to not have people dropping off the list faster than they are joining.

It seems to me you want help with a squeeze page, before looking at building your list. Don't stress! Sit down quietly with pen and paper. What message do you want to convey? What is the pain you want to take away? What does you market want to solve? What is the perrrrrect outcome for your market? Why did you build the website and why did you choose this market?

Go to similar websites. What are they saying? What are they using as headlines? What could you use as your headline? Now write at least 20 headlines. Check the words for better choices in your Thesaurus. Use the best two headlines, the first is your main headline and the second is your subheading. Add some relevant points. Now go to Elance or Fiverr and list a job. Accept the best and ask them to write two top squeeze pages. Test them on your market.

2. Use it, read it, apply it.
3. Shoot a short 5 minute video reviewing the product
4. Post the video to your site (transcribe the video)
5. Email your list and let them know.

You're probably struggling to put something together because...

a) You're not an expert on the subject matter
b) It doesn't interest you
c) Both.

I have been working on this since last November. If I may ask, what program did you end up purchasing? I have bought many.

My advice would set up a spam only email account (like me) and then go and sign up to as many email lists as you can in or close to your niche. Try goggle "bad breath free download" and so on. Also go for some other health niches. Then read the auto responses from these website.

Pick out the bits that you think work and put them in your own words.

Fallen into the trap of buying "marketing products" which only teach you how to go round in circles and spend more money on other "marketing products" rather than actually teaching you anything.

What you're doing is working hard to make someone else rich.

Have you actually bought a domain, and paying for hosting and an autoresponder? Do you know what the top sites in the bad breath niche are, and can you buy advertising on them to get people to your site and join your list.

I would think that with bad breath most of the products are physical, so can you make commission by recommending these products?

Overall stop buying "marketing products" and take action on what you know.

In my opinion it is pretty easy. You just create a simple squeeze page -> drive traffic to that squeeze page -> write something of value to your list.

You really don't have to buy a product to learn how to do that, all you need is right here on the Internet. You just got to know what to search for ;-)

Don't over complicate things, there's no rule about how long an email needs to be. It has one purpose... to sell the click.

Know your market better than you know yourself. Paint a picture of who an ideal prospect is that's dying for your information...

What keeps them up at night
Emotions they feel right now due to having dragon breath

Primary driver emotions... If your main demographic is dudes, maybe they're frustrated because their breath is so bad that girls turn green and run every time he gets within 10 feet of them. (rejection, embarrassment)

Most important, write just like you would to a friend and offer solutions and the emotions and rewards that come with that. (confidence, pride, getting laid)

My way of writing responsive emails is
subscribe to top marketers' email newsletters.

From there, you will modify/script the email
content to suit your subscribers. That is the
best way to kick-start your email campaign.

Please do not copy totally.. That is not cool.

Another Tip:
Check the click open rate for
the email messages sent out.

Identify what types of emails your subscribers
are responding to.

You don't have to write long emails..
You just need to write stuffs your list is
interested in.

Just Give Them What they Want!!

Your problem is more common than you realize and there is an easy solution.

Instead of trying to send people what you think they want and drawing a blank, go visit the most popular forums in your niche. Sort by the "most viewed" threads and see what topics have the most interest already.

Your market is already telling you what they you to write about.

Think about the following: When do people go to GOOGLE to search? ANSWER: Usually to find an answer to a question or a problem. SO ASK YOURSELF: What problem am I trying to solve? Now do a search with a keyword (or keywords) pertaining to your niche. Then read the answers on the first page. Make some notes and START WRITING YOUR FIRST E-MAIL. Just start with a short e-mail. You will get better when you start doing more of them.

Remember you're never going to want to promote something that you've never used or tried yourself. Don't blindly promote products, you might end up promoting garbage and it will just hurt you in the end.

I subscribe to a few Famous internet Marketers and take inspiration from their work and emails.
Though for sure you need to have your own character in emails and as for Squeeze Pages, you should try to look at whats out there from other people and check what they do. I started to collect an amount of Squeeze pages and check what appeals to me and how I can apply some concepts to the product.
Look at what the product offers and find a Dramatic headline that captures their pain/pleasures.

The thing that you have to remember about email marketing is that it really isn't an exact science. It is next to impossible to sell something to everyone that reads your newsletter or autoresponder messages.

This isn't to say that you will not sell something through email marketing, but you're not going to win everybody. It just doesn't work that way. Even the best sales copy on the planet isn't going to grant you any sales and do you know why? Because the answer lies inside the individual reading that sales copy, not the sales copy itself.

The same goes for email marketing because you may have crafted the best email message in the universe, but if the individual simply isn't ready to buy then guess what? You've got it, they're not buying.

You can do all the priming in the world to try and get people to buy, but the final decision doesn't come from you, it comes from them instead. Sure this might sound harsh, but it is the truth. Even the best email copy or sales copy can't convert anybody into a paying customer. It all has to do with the fact that the individual themselves is ready to buy and nothing else.

The only power that you really have is to try and convince people to buy by providing them with the benefits that the product or service has. However, that's the only real power that you do have.

Another thing that could keep people from making purchases from within your email messages is the fact that maybe you're trying to sell too much? Let's face it, there are marketers out there who do nothing but constantly sell sell sell in their email campaigns and never give any valuable content to read.

If you want to make money with email marketing then you need to add some true value to the email messages and not just a bunch of affiliate links and seles pitches. Say something that will interest and engage your subscribers and try not to sell to them all of the time.

Mix sales material along with general conversation and such. Your subscribers will love you for it.

Like one other person on here mentioned, be yourself and try not to be something that you're not. Do your best, do the things that you know need to be done and just keep on plugging away.

Success will indeed come even though it might not happen litterally overnight. Do the proper marketing that you know that you need to do such as posting posts here on the Warrior Forum, reply to posts and if at all possible, start new threads.

However, just make sure that you have something in the signature file because you will want that to show after each post that you make on here.

I have an email address that is specially used to join the big marketer's list so that I will be able to collect the series of emails that they sent to their subscribers. This will enable you to study the sequence that they used to send the email and the kind of email messages that they use. Purely studying the way they sent their email messages is a very practical activity as I learn tons of things from them.

I will take note of those that captures my attention and I will save it in a folder which will be my swipe file folder. Whenever I want to write an email or email series, I will check out the swipe folder and model after them.
