Questions about Wordpress Landing Page Options for Website

I am trying to make a very simple landing page on my website, I just want to put the optin form off to the right (like I might a picture), but I can't figure out how to do it.

I don't want to use a different theme because I like the one I have, so that is out. Any suggestions, please? I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong area.

I'm not really sure what you're asking. Are you saying that you want to float the optin form to the right in your wordpress theme? Do you mind showing us a link or being a little more specific?

Can you tell me what you mean by this, as I'm trying to do this too. What widget option? I was trying to find a plug in that acts like a squeeze page or pop up, but I can't find a good one that's simple and isn't too complicated.

The best way to add the optin form is to generate the form in Aweber or GetResponse and then insert the code in a text widget in the sidebar of Wordpress.
Go to appearance then widget then drag a text widget into the sidebar and insert the code in there

I would suggest using what @CustomDevo suggested. If you have a widget sidebar, it may distract the user from using the other widgets (if you add more widgets to the sidebar). Using Easy Table will allow you to split you post right on the page - similar to using text boxes or having side-by-side paragraphs in Microsoft Word. Just my 2 cents!

Post your landing page here if you want some feedback!
