Just because your site is online doesn't mean it will make any money. Most people find it very difficult to choose the right niche when it comes to micro niche sites. With an authority site you can pick something broad like weight loss because you will be adding alot of content and will have plenty opportunities to rank for different keywords, however if you're only adding a few pages you have to really do alot of research into your competition and pick keywords that you are relatively sure you'll be able to rank for.

Also outsourcing articles on Iwriter probably won't get you far - the quality there just isn't good enough for a money site. You can get lucky if you pay for an elite writer, but really it's very much a lottery. I use iwriter myself, but only for backlink articles (for web 2.0 properties etc.)

But kooney! if we did like that we cannot sure when it'll rank though by the way most of micro niche site sellers already ranked for the decent keywords which absolute not minimum 1000 searches per month. So it'll be bit advantages for me in order to scale the ROI pretty faster.

I've had dozens of websites myself, and I've seen others with hundreds.

In my case, I found it extremely overwhelming and virtually impossible to manage and run them all properly. Towards the end a lot of my sites were suffering because I just didn't have the resources and time to keep track of everything. I ditched most of them and cut back to 3. I'll soon be cutting back to just 2.

This is the thing....once you really understand just how much work is involved with just running one site PROPERLY, there's no way you can run hundreds of sites the same way. Unless of course, you have very deep pockets and have a team to handle content, syndication, seo, marketing, email marketing, conversion tracking and so on.

Since Penguin, the "have hundreds of sites making $50 a day", model has certainly taken a huge hit. I know of many people personally that have ditched hundreds of sites - that's a LOT of wasted time and effort. (and money). I made this mistake myself.

I'm not saying niche sites are dead, or this method doesn't work - I'm sure for some it does, but if you're working on your own, without the funds and expertise, it can be a real struggle.

In any case, if you really want to build up a highly valuable asset that can generate income, consider the authority site model.

Think seoroundtable, seomoz, techcrunch, mashable.

Those sites are powerhouse man, and I'm sure they all do very well in terms of $$$

If you're thinking "Man, that sounds like hard work...", don't forget, all of those big sites out there started the same way as most sites do. Domain name registration and a few blog posts. The difference is, they were patient, they worked hard, and they thought long term.

The time and effort it takes to try and pull of hundreds of niche sites (then potentially losing them all due to a penalty of sorts) would be much better off spent building up an asset that adds value to the web, is easier to operate and manage, and is enjoyable to work on - without all the unnecessary stress.
