Programmer needs advice / help?
Here's the deal.
I have been coding since a boy, early 80's. Getting older now, 38 - but still on the ball (I hope!).
Since 1996 I have been making internet applications - and more recently have been dabbling in the affiliate arena.
I decided to make a "instant internet business" for beginners called "My First Internet Business". It has everything for a beginner to get off the ground and start making sales. Opt-in generator, sales pages, give-away pages and so on.
What I am finding is that I get the odd random sign up - not from any particular campaigns. As I have loads of domain names all pointing to my main website, it's not that easier to work out how they found me.
I feel good that people take the plunge (originally I was offering the system for a $47 sign up and $39 a month thereafter). Now that I am offering my entire system for only $1 trial I am hoping thing move a little quicker.
The reason why I am here is because I feel that I do a hell of a lot of work making systems that seem to appeal, however I seem to lack marketing experience myself! I know it sounds ironic, but when other people follow my advice, it seems to work! I have one guy who made himself over $1000 in a couple of months using my system. I CAN'T EVEN DO THAT! He paid $147 to get involved too. Incidentally, he has exhausted his list and has moved on to another program now..... but I still have his stats.
If there's any of you out there that can look at my product, offer some advice and recommendations - I'd be really grateful. I would hapily code in any bespoke affiliate scheme for anyone who can help.
