What I hate about re-occuring payments!

I've got a product where they pay $37 initially, and in 30 days they are billed again for $37. Well, this is a new product and just recently the time frame came around where they were charged again and wouldn't you know, several of the charges would not go through for various reasons. This really irritates me. Because of this, I may just change to a one time payment.

Anyone else have this problem and if so, what do you do about it?

reccurring payments are a pain. i see what you mean.. however its main advantage is that you get to pay in instalments

You can offer 3 month, 6 month or yearly subscription. If your product needs recurrent payments and if you are turning it into one time payment, won't you lose money?

You can stop them accessng your member area when payment not successful. Once payment is done > automatic login is authorized.

Here's the deal with continuity...most masters at it have only been able to extend it out to a 3 month period.

Most cancel within the first month, then most certainly all within the following month. It has to do with the fact that within the first 30 days many have still not taken action.

Continuity is created by continuing to offer massive value...to keep it going month after month you would need to either offer a program type which is progressive in nature or another strategy is to have your strategies you want to teach and each month you dangle the new one out suggesting how it is even going to be better than the last (even then most won't stay around)

Some of the top level marketers have recently discovered that a $67 monthly recuring for a specified period works remarkably well and it never goes over 12 months

Let me just clarify...this is not a continuity program. It's a simple two payment process for a physical product. One payment of $37 now, and another payment in 30 days for $37.

Hey Todd, your message is interesting but a bit cryptic - care to explain in a little more detail?

Sorry...sometimes what makes sense in my head doesn't always get conveyed when I hit submit

My point is that continuity programs are mostly doomed unless you have massive amounts of content....part of that content actually has to include a huge marketing component to sell your next months content i.e. stay tuned next month when I reveal how to make even more millions of dollars...

so it is a massive undertaking to keep your subscribers interested month to month and probably not worth it for you. You may be better off to do several launches rather than put the massive effort into continuity.

If you decide you want to try it...then some guys in a group that are seven figure a year guys did some massive testing on continuity and found conversions improved when their marketing approach included a specified period for the continuity.

      does that make sense?

Hi Todd, Apart from inner circle vip I don't do online continuity I tend to do offline continuity, so I'm not too experienced in this area yet.
