Does this Video Move You To Take Action?

I am now exclusively using video on my squeeze pages and sales pages. It seems to be VERY effective. Most of my videos to date have been me standing in front of a camera describing my various products.

Now I am experimenting with TEXT/Image videowith just a voiceover. I think it's really good, but what I think doesn't matter.

Any thoughts before I promote this publicly? Does this move you to subscribe?

Does it cause you to click away? What would make it better?

    I thought you could have gone with the tried and tested bullet points system to try to entice a little more - but it is at least straight to the point.

    I also felt the punch line sounded a bit corny although realistically "dough" is what people are really after - so I guess this is really about style.

    The only way you'll know how good it really is is by doing the good ole split testing :-)

    Well don't take me wrong but I think videos like this are everywhere & I don't think they work anymore , I as a user would really like to see a real testimonial or a review video of the service or product your are selling with explaining more about the product showing amount of money one made of it. Unlike showing scripted video !

      Valid points. Thank you. However, as a start up I have no testimonials for this particular newsletter. But definitely something to remember for the future.

        Mark, I'm likely not in your target market, so take my comments for what they're worth...

        > The video took almost three minutes to load. Maybe it's the net, or server load or something, but unless I'm pretty well pre-sold on watching the video, I'm out long before the little white stick finishes chasing its tail.

        > Once it did load, it played fine. Short, energetic, good technical quality.

        > Here's the "not in your market" part. I've been seeing the same pitch for over a decade, and as soon as I knew what I was watching, the action would be to hit the back button.

        > My gut tells me that if your target audience is young adult males with dreams about mansions, sports cars and hot women, this will likely serve you very well.

        (I do have to give you props for the play on the evolution chart at the end. Very clever.)
