How to track sales from Advert on Site?

Hi,

I was wondering if there is anyway to track sales coming from an ad if just using the homepage url, i.e mysite.com rather than a tracking link.

Is there anyway to track the visitor from the url they are coming from to the conversion page without using a tracking link?

    If you've got google analytics you can look into the referrer details and see what link refereed them to the webpage. That should tell you who came from where.
