How would one increase views and exposure of YouTube videos? Any tips or tricks to optimize?

    1. Video upload message - Use the new "upload with a personal message" feature. It seems to raise click throughs from subscribers.
    2. Properly tag - Use as many relevant tags as possible. Ask yourself "what are people searching for?" and try to relate to your video. Unrelated tags can cause your video to lose all search ranking.
    3. Annotate links - Use annotated links in the video to link to other videos by yourself. More time spent on your channel is never a bad thing.
    4. Annotate something personal about the video - Try to include personal annotations or messages in the description to make sure your fans know you are connected directly to them.
    5. Video response last video - Use the Video Response feature to respond with one of your past videos.
    6. Post video to all personal social networks.

    oh and make quality videos! Invest in a good video recorder.

    You tube is a great place to get traffic. This best way I have gotten quality traffic is the value of the information I am giving to my viewers. People love information as long as it benefits them.
