Is it possible to write a press release for an Amazon Affiliate Site

Hi,

I was wondering if it was possible to write a press release for an amazon affiliate site.

I have about 30 products on the site and at the moment I am waiting article reviews for the products I am promoting.

As anyone ever released a press release for an affiliate site and can give me any tips. Should I promote the fact that their are reviews of the products etc.

The site as been up about 7 weeks and is receiving reasonable traffic and sales (20 sales 1st month and 14 so far in march) due to backling and social sharing I have been doing.

I have never done a press release before, would you say it is effective and could it be done for a pure affiliate site

    For sure you can, the big guys do it all the time. Press Release can work wonders if done right. If you don't know how to do you can pay someone on Fiverr for this task or if you aim for more quality search the Warriors for hire section here on the WF. Good luck :-)

      Hi thanks for that, I intend to outsource it I just wasn't sure if they work for Amazon sites

    Yea press releases work in a very powerful way, especially if you are selling a rare item. If it is rare and sending a press release you will get noticed.

    Press releases are a vital part of any marketing strategey. They can be used for promoting your company rather than the product its' self. What I mean is that you may have a rare item e.g. an LED lit desk with grooves cut out for an ipone to stand in and the same for an ipad. You may not expect to sell this item as it is very specific and complex to make and therefore expensive... the point is... it has caught your eye and got the company brand noticed!
