What are my options for video membership sites?

Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm in the process of creating my first membership site that will contain eBooks and video. I'm looking for the best option for a video player and possibly hosting. I know a lot of people will recommend amazon S3, but please let me know what other options work well.

From the research I've done it seems like Easy Video Suite would be a good service...they will host the videos and I just have to embed the code on my membership pages, right?

I'm not really worries about the cost, just want the best option. Bandwidth shouldn't be much of an issue because this is a niche site and I'm not going to have 10k+ members.

    I would recommend Wistia + MemberMouse. I use that combination personally to run a 7 figure site. It's also quite affordable.

      Hi Dan,

      In Membermouse, how easy is it to setup (and later modify) sales funnels including upsells/downsells?
      (the new software Instamember has a nice visual interface for setting up funnels, however that software lacks some important features need for membership sites)

      Have you ever used DAP (or WL or other platform) and how would compare that platform to Membermouse?

    For hosting videos I use Amazon S3, and embed them using Simple Video Pro Plugin on an Optimize Press+Wishlist

    Even if using a video player you will still need to host those video files somewhere. For that I recommend Amazon S3, it's the industry standard for video files and downloads nowadays. I would recommend your own Amazon S3 account over any other hosted solutions because you should always be in control of your own business assets otherwise you are just setting yourself up for failure later down the line.

    1. Signup and get Amazon S3.

    2. Find a video player. Yes, Easy Video Player will work fine.

    Vimeo.com is a good one. Very configurable, you can whitelist domains, and great yearly pricing too.
