Stuck. Ideas for targeting over 30,000 mothers with kids under 5.

Hey Guys and gals,

I am in quite a situation. I have over 30,000 mothers in my network and I would like to monetize the list and ultimately add value to each parent and make money in doing so. What would you do in this situation? I Have previously and still have a dropship store however that is not turning over near enough money. I would ultimately like to be able to take $1000 a week out of the business...

Any ideas on what you would do or what you have done would be fantastic. Thank you in advance.

Ronnie

If they have kids under 5 their biggest hurdle right now is creating a balance between their partner, housework, the children and themselves. This can get very overwhelming. Maybe you could come up with some kind of ebook that deals with handle ling all these things and keeping their sanity.

Brilliant David, I would have to agree. What size eBooks do you suggest? 3 pages of succinct tips and tricks... or a more involved research based ebook?

I would try to keep short but precise. Moms these days are so busy.

send them a survey and see what type of stuff they are most interested in, then offer them those things

Your subscriber demographics are a very substantial overlap with "weight loss demographics".

When the ClickBank product "FatLoss4Idiots" was first popular, a few years ago, a small group of affiliates made fortunes by avoiding all the normal "diet promotions" and just promoting it to "women over 30", including in "parenting forums" and so on.

$1,000 per week is certainly a very modest profit aspiration for a responsive list of 30,000.

    I'm "just saying".

The key is figuring out how you got those 30k mothers to engage with you. What value did you offer them that they were willing to give up some of their valuable time to you. Once you identify the value you provided to them, then you can work on a way to monetize it.

Did you offer product reviews? Then get affiliate links to products.

Did you offer helpful tips and advice? Then offer an eBook or membership site.

Did you offer them a mental escape in the form of humor? This one would be harder...

Anyway, you get the point. I agree with the above about the survey. Come up with some questions to determine what they need. Find their pain points and come up with products to relieve that pain.

1)Try to find how much are single mothers,
In case you will find you have several thosends of single mothers, you can be more targeted in your offers.

2)Look around for ads for mothers/mother with kids, look what they are selling
Click on adsense, bing, yahoo ads, in thier forums, and make it a habit!
      Mimic what is working now!

3)Try to do give a way that in return they will share you

      Hope that helps,

Write something interesting every day on your blog (where you have ads that can be monetized Adsense, Amazon, Ebay) and email your list every day. After a while, create a premium section and charge a monthly fee for it.

You can also sell solo ads to other stores, maybe charge monthly for inclusion in your newsletter.

Understand your demographics of your traffic and find things they may need.

A new mother may be looking for baby products but a mother of a 5 year old may be looking for education programs and activities.

You may try want to CPA with coupons or baby products.
