Question for Facebook advertisers...

Ok, anyone that could enlighten me on this is amazing.

I've been trying to run a few ads on Facebook and anytime I run them, my account gets shuts down almost immediately. They're not spammy ads, at all. But apparently Facebook has issues with it. I understand. Totally fine.

The problem is, I see other Facebook fan pages running the exact same ads, word for word, and they've been doing it for a year with no problems.

My question is, does the age of a fan page have anything to do with how lenient FB is towards your advertising?

I'm really hoping that it's not just "luck of the draw", but I get the feeling that's what it is.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Brad

If you feel that age could be a restriction , play it safe, and set the target age to be 18+ It is instant approval.

The age of the "fan page" not the age of the demographic... I think you might misunderstand what I'm saying :-)

Maybe that's your problem right there? copying the same exact ad word for word , I have experienced the same before but accounts were not completely shutdown.
When I played the with the add wordings a little bit it went through no problem.
Are you using PPC or PPV?

    Good Luck!

If your account has been shut down once then it's likely they will shut down any future accounts your are opening, especially if they are using the same ip address or funding source.

Once they shut your account down. Create another form from different ip address and different funding source. Other wise they will shut every account you create from the same ip address.

I have run facebook ads for 2 different pages. One was Golden Retrievers & the other was a funny images page. The ads for both pages were approved within 2-3 days of setting up the fan pages.

So I don't believe the age of the fan page has anything to do with it. As a previous poster said it could be your ad was a word for word copy of another ad.
