Good site for assessing WP themes
Hi,
I had an idea for creating a site where you could view a random sample of sites created using the different premium WP themes. The aim of it was to enable non designers to get a realistic idea of what they could expect to create if they used a theme.
Anyway, there is a site wp.io already doing this. The more popular themes such as Karma have hundreds of examples It also gives load time stats, and a quality score for the code.
One downer is I couldn't find a way of easily searching for individual themes. It's almost like they don't want anyone to search the site:confused:So I just did a site search using google e.g. karma site:wp.io. All of the most popular WP themes from themeforest are there .
Anyway I think this is a great resource for wordpress newbies. There are definitely some themes that are butt ugly when newbies get there hands on them. and they should stay away from them.
