Critique my optin squeeze page please

I have registered my domain and setup my host, so I'am currently in the middle of designing my website, but then I thought "why don't I just setup a lead squeeze page on the frontpage of my website in the meantime, so I can at least start building my list?

So here it is (form is unfunctional)
Squeeze Page:
My3WMarketing.com | Coming soon - In Prelaunch

Any critique will be appreciated since this is my first ever squeeze page

I'll be honest when I say that I cringe just a tad when I see how I have the two sections "downloadable access" & "next step" arranged/layed out on the download page.

It needs something more to it. I would probably click the back arrow or bypass it.

I would like to see a picture or something on the EBook cover.

I'm the same with Ladyk1. If this is your first project getting a squeeze page setup, you might look at getting some squeeze page templates to try out. Ones that are designed to convert.

I've seen some in the past if I remember right in the wso section. I would do a search for squeeze page templates. I only recommend this if your just starting out and want to do it with as little headaches as possible.

Sorry to be critical, but I just don't see that page capturing many subscribers. It's just too stark and lacking in visual appeal.

Also, if you haven't designed the site yet, are you also going to start promoting the site before you design it? Otherwise, I don't see how you're going to have any traffic to convert to subscribers anyway. Seems to me you're going about everything backwards.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.

      What do you mean, backwards?

The Design itself is about 85% done, just got to do a little CSS tweaking.
I do alot of safelist and traffic exchange promotions right now trying to win some of the referral contests to save up for a new computer, so I figured I could just include my url at the bottom of the signature I use for SOLO ads and banners on said safelists and TEs.

And I've also changed the optin box design above; I really don't like using templates, but I found one that I thought has half decent looking. If I had my computer and software I could make some really snazzy stuff, so I am supremely limited in creating visual asthetic appeal ATM

Too bland for my taste. Clicked out of it since it didn't grab my attention
