Selling on Amazon - 2 Questions

Hi All,
I have great success with affiliating Amazon products in specific niche. The thing is the commissions for affiliates are pretty low so I consider to sell my own product as a vendor.
I have 2 questions:
1.Can I sell on Amazon already existing product that someone else sales?
2.How can I handle all the shipping process? Should I ship the products manually (I guess not)? Should I use drop shippers? How can this process be automated? I sell ton of stickers as affiliate, but how am I supposed to handle the shipping of dozens of stickers in a month as a vendor? (As affiliate all the shipping is done by Amazon and I don't need to take any care of it, but on the other hand the commission is low..).

Why are you playing with something that has a low commission rate?

sign up to amazon's marketplace and you can sell what you like. also amazon do a fulfilment service where they store, pack and ship your product. if you can make more money than the affilate commission then go for it.

It’s very rare to hear that someone is having great success with affiliating Amazon products or perhaps I heard about few successful Amazon affiliate marketers. If it's really good for you then you should sell your own product. Yes you can sell on Amazon already existing product that someone else sales. Shipping method is easy. You sell it, they ship it. Amazon has created one of the most advanced fulfillment networks in the world, and your business can benefit from their expertise. With Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) you store your products in Amazon's fulfillment centers, and they pick, pack, ship, and provide customer service for these products. Best of all, FBA can help you scale your business and reach more customers—in a 2012 survey, 64% of FBA respondents reported that their Unit sales increased on Amazon.com more than 20%, since joining FBA. I hope this will help.

You're doing the right thing - being a seller is always more profitable than being an affiliate if you do it right :-).

Yes you can sell any product, preferably something that is already selling on Amazon and has a known demand.

2.How can I handle all the shipping process? Should I ship the products manually (I guess not)? Should I use drop shippers? How can this process be automated? I sell ton of stickers as affiliate, but how am I supposed to handle the shipping of dozens of stickers in a month as a vendor? You can do it both ways, manually as well as by using a drop shipper. If you're starting small you can buy items selling at a low price from neighborhood discount stores and sell them on Amazon by using Fulfillment by Amazon(FBA). Though this can bring you a few thousands in profits if you buy products that have a selling price that is high enough you may not be able to scale it beyond a certain limit.

When you're scaling up to a larger operation you will need to identify drop shippers you can use. Drop shipping is a completely different subject altogether and I suggest you do your own research about it on this forum and other sites on the internet.

If you want to automate the process you can do so by hiring staff who will need to be trained in certain tasks related to the process that you set up.

    Talbrice..

If you are just getting started with FBA, be sure to do it yourself for a little while. This will help you know the exact process and then you will know what to look for in a service.

Hey, it's for sure that selling your own brand is much more profitable than selling as an affiliate and use FBA for shipping.
