What affiliate tools do you like to see?

INTERNET MARKETING

I was wondering what everyone looks for in an affiliate tools/resources page. What resources are most important to you?
What resources do you not see sellers offering very often that you wish they did?

Having good banners - which seems obvious - but many banners are pretty bad...

Email templates are usually never to be found, which are quite useful.

A good review of the product detailing exactly what it does. Most affiliate pages totally leave this out.

A quick and easy graphic that shows me the funnel setup -- the price point of each part in the funnel along with the commission percentage for each part.

Some decent banner ads.

That's all I ever really need.

I am having success promoting a program I am involved in with a rebrandable Special Report that I created (so successful I just paid the $60 to add the image to my WF sig).

Banner ads and emails are great, but they are kind of common and I'm not sure how often they get shared. "Special Reports" do have more perceived value and can easily be shared with other people. It kind of follows WillR's post above about a good review of the product.

If the product or service gives a multi-tiered commission and the reader knows they can get the Special Report with their own links inserted it also increased the value of the report.

Just my thoughts, your mileage may vary.

As well as the usual suggested emails and good banners I like them to provide a review article sample.

I say sample because I would rewrite it but it helps me if I know more about the product I am promoting.

I’m reading this thread to understand what I should do for my affiliates.

A good review of the product detailing exactly what it does. Most affiliate pages totally leave this out.

You are supposed to look for more information about the product you want to promote at the seller’s website.

I didn't think about having a description of the products again at the affiliates’ page since they can find explanations about my products at other pages of my website.
