Dog training niche question

Hey guys
I have a website in the dog training niche. It's doing pretty good for the most part. Traffic comes from a Facebook page with 17,500 likes.

My question is, I have a lot of links to trainpetdog.com. My affiliate stats for trainpetdog.com shows over 700 clicks last month but not one single sale. Does anybody have any experience with trainpetdog.com and how are they converting.

If you have 700 clicks and 0 sales, that means that the site isn't converting. Try to replace those links with links to other affiliate offers, and ideally sales pages, to get more sales.

Yeah what merezza said. 0/700 is a VERY strong indicator that something is wrong withyour sales pages. Try different products, try different offers... try a different affiliate network. You are getting enough data to really determine that you need some changes to start converting which is really all that matters.

I'd look for strong affiliate landing pages... ones where the sale page pops right up and the buy now button is easy to find - with NO other distracting links. If a potential customer comes to your site, clicks through, then goes to the OTHER site and has to click multiple times, that's just a bad idea.

Your Page ----> Their Sales Page --- BUY. That's the funnel you want.

From 700 visits I would expect around 350 or more sales... Look at your website if you would be a visitor and ask yourself why should I buy from this sire? Then ask yourself: why I should not buy from this site?
Then you will see what needs to be changed. The problem is your website incapable to make sale. If you would get at least 10 sales I would have to look at it in order to give you advice, but when it is 0, change every thing.

You might want to do some research on trainpetdog.com as far as ripoff report goes. That's all I'll say. I came across that site and checked into it. That's why there might not be any conversions.

Thanks scrofford. I just took your advice and checked for reviews of trainpetdog.com. Reviews came up as a scam alert. I will be removing all their links from my site immediately. Thanks again.

He probably is asking if there may be a problem with the affiliate system/link, because he had a lot of clicks and not a single sale.

If so, try asking the support team of trainpetdog.

Dog training niche is one of the lowest converting niches of all time... unless you target the right keywords. But even then. It's all up to you.

I beg to differ with that one! The dog training niche is an excellent niche that can pay you well for years if done right. Not sure what experience you've had with it, but there are a lot of people doing well in this market.
