How To Verify Telephone No Craigslist for Non US Resident?

Anyone tell me how you can verify a telephone number on craigslist when you do not have a us phone number?

This is just to place a single ad and NOT spam the **it out CL.

    Hi,

    I did that recently and it hasn't been easy.
    First I took a VoIP number just in case they wanted to call me (they didn't though). Then I contacted their support by e-mail and pleaded my case, I gave them as many details as I could to show them I am genuine, my complete address, my French regular phone number, my company registration number, and even a sample of the products I intended to promote on Craigslist.
    It took some convincing, at first they didn't want to give me the verified status, but after a few exchanges by e-mail they finally did.
    I can't promise it'll work for you too but it's worth a try, and that's probably the only way.

    Is the phone number located in a city and country that Craigslist has listed in the index linked below?

    Yes.. there are some methods to verify your craigslist accounts. But it's hard to get them verified using VOIP etc. Because craigslist will not accept them.
