I hadn't heard of them, but there are no circumstances under which I'd buy an email list from them (or from anyone similar), myself.

Nothing devalues a list like selling it does. I want my subscribers to be only people who have voluntarily opted in to join my list, because I'm the person to whom they're giving the necessary permission for permission-based marketing. That express permission given to a person whose name will be on the top of the emails they receive is what determines their responsiveness, and their responsiveness is what determines my income.

I know of no commercial autoresponder company which will allow customers to import "bought lists" (and I wouldn't, myself, be willing to use one that did allow other customers to do that - because their email deliverability rate, as a company, probably wouldn't quite be out of the top drawer, to put it very mildly).

I never heard of them but I doubt 184 million US Consumer and 23 million US Businesses "opted in"

They probably bought a useless 500 million scraped email list on ebay for $9.99 and are just reselling them.

They mentioned that they have affiliation with 10,000 websites and they emails are permission based emails.

Other thing. The price for 50,000 emails is $89 which look's very cheap to me.

I asked to there CSR and they told me that they never sell one list twice. For example if you purchased 50k that will be only in use of you and you may not re-sell it which sound's good.

But I don't know why they are reselling themselves ?

List-building isn't about quantity and speed, Pingsters.

Like almost everything else that actually matters, in internet marketing, it's about quality and relevance.

How were those leads generated? By bribing them with a boatload of freebies probably? You'd be buying a list of freebie seekers. If it were a customer list they wouldn't be selling it, they might rent it out for a solo ad or something, maybe let you buy ad space, but selling the list I don't think so. Probably why it's cheap. JMO.

I'd say ask for a free sample mailing, but it would probably be at least seeded with the newer subscribers.

I could be wrong though (I usually am) they've been around for a while, so at least they seem to be doing okay.
