Authorize .net, 2checkout .com, Google Checkout, Amazon Payments, and Alertpay are some good alternatives. Don't forget about Clickbank either.

Alertpay is payza.com now but they not yet have bank withdrawl for many countries. I am from Sweden and have more than 100 bucks stuck there. So check before you use Payza

Bitcoins is a mess, have you seen the price fluctuations? Only during the recent few months I've seen it spike from <50 to 250+ and now it's back again in the 90s or so range.

The idea was nice at first, hell I even got into it like more than a year ago, but seeing the shady community and exchanges getting hacked, this currency will probably only workout for shady transactions through the internet for "not so legal stuff" or whatever.

I currently use Square.com and love the fact that they deposit funds into your bank account in 1 day or so. I've used many payment processors online and have found Square to be my current favorite due to ease of use, low fees, and quick deposits.

Well there's a lot of other payment gateways like Payza, Google Checkout, Amazon, Authorize.net, and many more.

Another question is either those alternatives are supported by online transaction like at fiverr, odesk even warrior.
As Shawn mentioned about Square but I wonder if it is supported to transfer/withdraw payments from online services?

I pay several of my outsourcers via Payoneer. Other than that it's all Paypal for me.

  • Be sure to consider the consumers point of view when using an alternative processor besides the ones that the general public is familiar with. You may very well lose some sales if they leave the shopping cart simply because the processor is unfamiliar to them, or in some cases doesn't look legit for whatever reason. Yes many newcomers to the web and even veteran internet consumers are like that.
