Can anyone help me with guest blogging?

I have a client who I'm writing articles for on a daily basis and he's offered me more work guest blogging.

Now I'm aware I need to find these blogs or contact owners of blogs, but this is an opportunity I don't want to let go and fear it will be hard to get blogs to post on.

Is there any help or hope out there?

Thanks,
Aaron.

Do it! I did guest posting for awhile and while you do have to contact some blog or forum admins cold, a lot of blogs and other sites have actual places where they advertise looking for guest posts, there will be an actual link.

Search for guest posts or guest posting in search results and search for it in relevant blogs, forums and authority sites before just trying to contact the admin, odds are you will have some luck there.

How are you being compensated? Are you guest blogging for this client, or are you simply ghostwriting for dollars?

    Thanks everyone.

If anyone can help me with or owns a travel blog which I can do one guest post on I would be grateful.

I need 5 separate travel blogs with PR2+ for 5 individual posts.

    Anyone help?
    Thanks.

Do you mean that the pages on which you post have to be PR2+? (That would be a strange requirement?)

Or does your client imagine that posting on PR-0 pages of a blog whose own home page happens to be PR-2 or higher is somehow going to be of additional benefit to him? (Surely not?).

Possibly he doesn't appreciate that websites don't "have page ranks": only pages have page-ranks?

Rather a strange criterion, really, however you look at it?

The reason I mention it is that I'm wondering if it might help you, and make the job a lot easier for you, Aaron, if you could possibly find a super-tactful way to educate your client just a little about page ranks? Just enough information to prompt him to realise that they're an attribute of pages might effectively solve the problem?

It's what I'd want to do.

However obvious it is, you need to explain it without actually saying "duh" to him!

The last thing I want to have to think about when I'm looking for guest blogging opportunities for my own business is other people's page ranks!

Look for blogs that do guest blogging by searching them using the footprins.. YOu can find the footprints around this forum, footprints like "Write for us" or "We need writters".. Also join some guest blogging exchange websites, you will find a lot of websites this way.

Thanks for your advice Lexy, I'm not actually worried if they want me to find blogs with PR2+ and I think your right in the first sentence. They want a blog with PR2 or above and I'm not up to scratch on Page rank on websites/blogs and what benefit it would have If I had an article posted with two backlinks on it.

Although I'm curious as to how your advice would help me?

    Thanks.

I was just thinking that if they imagined that posting on "a page of a blog whose own home page happens to be PR-2+" was significant and you explained to them that it really isn't, they might change their mind about that requirement, which would make life a lot easier for you? But if they actually want the page on which you post to be PR-2+ (which does make more sense, I grant them!), it's no use. Not that things will necessarily stay on the same pages of other people's blogs, or indeed that their page ranks will necessarily be maintained, but that's another matter. Good luck!

I understand thanks Lexy, you were right the second time there. I understand that posting on a page of a blog that has a home page PR2+ doesn't work.

    Thanks

Go to myblogguest, it is the best resource. How much do you get for every guest post you publish for your client ?

that website isn't what its made out to be, you have to fill in profiles and all sorts of gobbledygook. I've also been informed that blogs aren't quality.

I get paid well, but I wont release the details of how much unfortunately.

    Thanks for your suggestion.

I am asking you about the payment not because I want to get involved into the business of providing guest posts. I asked you because I might be interested in hiring someone who will write guest post for me and publish into other blogs and I was curious about the amount I had to pay.
