Beginning a new segment in my life

Okay, I'm a recent graduate with plenty of student loans. I'm currently working as a substitute teacher which pays the bills but not so well. Beginning in August I will be a full time teacher which will significantly help. However, I have a few months in till then.

I am a member of the war room and I have a small amount of money that I may invest in order to get started in IM. However, between all the forums on this board it is so easy to get overwhelmed with the great deal of information available.

My background includes a Bachelors in Exercise Science, and a Masters in Sports Psychology, along with teaching credentials for elementary and middle school Math.

With some of this in mind where do you think would be a beneficial place for me to start on my IM journey? I've taken a look at affiliate marketing, CPA, blogging etc. I'm not looking for a get rich scheme I want to start something that in the future I will be able to continue to scale up.

Here's a good place to start. You could write articles, an ebook, provide consultations, etc.

If you can find a way to monetize what you already know, you have a leg up.

I agree with the idea of developing your own products and brand using your knowledge. Anything with exercise, fitness, weight loss, muscle building, etc. is a major niche and one that is going to remain popular probably for as long as people are around. This definitely gives you something to look at when setting up a blog, finding your angle, and going from there. If there are some products you really believe in, maybe start as an affiliate, offer a free newsletter as you collect e-mails, and then develop your own programs or coaching programs. Hope that helps!

BAM! 5 Niches you have knowledge in. Head over to Google keyword tool find out which ones of those niches need help/services/etc make a niche site, build a list and make a product or have a niche site with adsense. BAM. That'll be 37$

No really. You have a leg up on a lot of people on these forums, you're already equipped with the knowledge of some pretty good niches.

Look to start up a long term online business ... sell your products or service (Products are good for passive income) ...

Before starting, do your market research ... Vulk mentioned one good tactic of market research as above ...

Then once you 've decided your business goals and what exactly you want to get into, start it up ... market it online ... build your list of customers and build your brand ... (all of this is just a top view of the long term things you could look to accomplish) .. Good luck!

    Welcome to the forum.

Some things that were running through my mind would be to consider guest posting on popular blogs, start getting your name out there and put a product together. In time you can start building a list and possibly look into setting up a membership site down the road where you can produce weekly newsletters, videos and training for people.

You mentioned that you'll be a full time teacher in a few months time, which is great but don't overload yourself as teaching gets busy enough as it is. It will take as long as you make it to be, in order to see some success with it, but it's an idea to consider.
