what is webform?

Can someone please explain to me what webform ID means and how to get it, I have getresponse account but I am novice about those technicals, please help.
I am confused.

    You go to your autoresponder service and you have to create a web form (opt in box) and when you've finished you get an html or java code to put on your site..


    Some where in that code will be a long number.

    Webform id is a part of web form code that you can find it once you get the javascript code or html code.
