Few questions about Clickbank

The help desk at Clickbank is pretty slow so..

1- If my product is not a ebook but just content in a member area, does Clickbank provides a solution for securing the member area or should I get a product like dlguard ?

2- They say this on their website:
"Don't waste your initial listing in the Marketplace after activation. If you haven't chosen any categories, or don't have a title or description listed on the My Site page, you'll miss out on a great opportunity to be seen by affiliates looking for the newest products to promote on the Marketplace. Make sure to get your Marketplace title, description, and categories set up before you pay your activation fee so you won't miss out on the 30 days after activation when we automatically list your product in the Marketplace."

What does that mean? You are not listed after 30 days? Or you have 30 days to get listed?

I was wondering if it was better to beta test the site for like a week or 2 before making it available to the marketplace. Good idea?

3- Extra content - Use it for recurring or one-time sell + upsales? And do affiliates profit from clickbank upsales in your member area? Is clickbank able to track that?

4- One-time sale option - Can you, down the line, change it for recurring?

5- Price - Is it true that affiliates care more about one sale getting them $50 profits than four sales getting them $70 profit while using the same traffic? I keep reading that affiliates want a big payout per sale and ignore smaller payouts...

6- One-click upsales - Isn't it better to keep your upsales in the member area after the buyer had time to breath a little and check out your product? Don't upsale ads right after the client has paid make them feel like they got an incomplete product and possibly got scammed?

7- Can you offer alternate versions of the pitch/landing page to affiliates?

Thanks

No, they do not. You'll need your own system for this.

It is confusing. I would just make sure you have your marketplace listing set up right away.

I personally would not, but it depends on how confident you are in your product and how it converts.

Yes, affiliates can benefit from upsells. ClickBank will track them. You could do either one recurring or upsells or both, really up to you, no best answer without knowing more about your content, market, etc.

Affiliates prefer higher payouts for less work. There are many variables which make it hard to give you a one-size-fits-all answer for this question.

One click upsell is AWESOME. It captures customers in the buying mode without having to enter their CC info all over again. Buyer's don't need to breathe, they need to buy! LOL

Yes, you can make as many as you want, but you will need your own scripting to set it up.
