I am doubtful about that I will get commission on purchases from outside USA.

    @cbnet,

If you have an amazon.com associates account and are promoting links to amazon.com then you will get commission for any sales made using those links.

If amazon.com ships to the country out of USA then you will get credit.

If someone goes to your website and clicks a link to go to amazon.com but then end up on amazon.co.uk and make a purchase, you won't get credit for that sale.

If you wanted to promote amazon.co.uk products then you will need to join the associates on their website and will need to generate new links for UK items.

If you have any more questions feel free to PM me.

    @ Ntech25................. Thanks

Now a person living in UK will probably buy from amazon.co.uk

I will like to get commission on the sales in UK & Canada, as well.

So I need to get enroll in Amazon UK & Amazon Canada also. Then will I have to give three links of US, UK & Canada in my articles/reviews. Is it practical?

Yes you need to enroll in each countries individual program. You can use certain plugins if you are running WordPress that will localize the links depending on where the visitor is coming from.

Here's one I've used in the past: WordPress › Amazon Affiliate Link Localizer « WordPress Plugins

The problem is, many products available on Amazon.com aren't available on .co.uk or other Amazon sites, but either way your still getting your cookie placed on those individuals computers.

Guys, so what is the solution if you have UK visitors and also are a UK associate? Do you place two links for the same product or use the plugin quoted?

Many of us get both US and UK visitors so this is important. Thanks.

Yes, you use the plugin, or create your own way to localize links.

Yes, you place 2 links. They can say 'for delivery in the UK' and 'for delivery in the US.'

I saw a blog about silver by Andy Henry where he had a separate section for each country, and I've done it myself except for the US and for Canada.

          Thanks fellas.

I've been doing the whole place the 2 links, which is a bit consuming as I have to log in into each account and search for the product.

So the link localizer plugin is the best option in terms of convenience?

I have been using the Amazon link localizer plugin for the past couple of weeks. It's definately your best option. You do need to sign up to each individual associate program, but once it's done it's done.
