How My Blog Got From Zero Visitors To 1500 Visitors Per Month In 3 Weeks

Pay really close attention, these tips will help you increase the flow of your traffic if is done in a constant manner.

So I started a blog about Internet Marketing Business (check it out if you need help on making money online) helping people how to make money online and start their own online business, like many are and myself.

I did gave it a nice theme, thinking that it will attract some people over time. I have also posted some PLR articles thinking that it will start bringing some traffic and giving some nice content for my visitors.

I did remind myself to update the blog once every 2 weeks, which is not a good idea, but what did I know back then. I thought it was normal to update your blog at least once every 2 weeks, or at least updated sometimes with some PLR articles.

At the time I was having a couple visitors a week, up to 5 or 6. No more. And I was wondering why I was having such a hard time getting TRAFFIC to my blog and why aren't people spending some time reading the content I posted 3 weeks ago.

Well, now i realize that's not how stuff works in the online world.

I recently read an ebook about increasing your website's traffic and flooding your site with TRAFFIC. And That's what I did. Does not matter what kind of site it is.

I than learned that updating your site twice a week and not twice a month wos the right way of playing the game in online marketing and getting MASSIVE TRAFFIC to your blog.

I than realized that PLR articles were ok, but if you don't rewrite them and provide a good and high quality content for your visitors, WHO in the world in gonna read through your site???

And how will your visitors ever come back if you don't attract them to come back through providing good, quality content and feeding them the right content that satisfies their massive hunger.

Do you think they'll come back if you give them what they have looking for?? Of course

By doing some of those steps explained above and some other nice techniques, my blog managed to go from 5 visitors a week to 15000 visitors a month. And tracking my visitors with google analytic...

Isn't that what we all want?? More traffic to our blogs or sites?

In the end, It is extremely important to keep a constant routine to updating your blog and providing awesome content.

Doing this for a couple of days will not get you anywhere....
Do it constantly, because you didn't open an online business for a week or two, you opened it for the rest of your life, and you want profits for the rest of your life as well.

I like to add content to my blog on a daily basis. Don't know exactly how much traffic I am getting though. But I know that adding content is very important.

Very useful tips and advices for newbies and 'oldbies' alike. I've heard the phrase (content is king) many times in blogging and it's proven to be true. Not updating your blog regularly is indeed a wrong step to pull massive amount of traffic to it. I always tell people that still new in 'blogging for profit' about the importance of the formula: amount of visitors = amount of cash you'll make

Do you guys have one blog or a blog farm? I've been ready about how blog farms (70-100) blogs can propel your web site up in search engines.

    What is your opinion?

    Congratulations on your success,

    A

The review blog in my sig was last updated on March 16th. Do you think the traffic has been any less this month?

I have a tech blog that hasn't had a new post since November 2007. How do you think it's traffic is doing? Would you think it's any less than what it was back then?

I made the same mistake. My first blog had something like a couple of visitors per week. Something like a month or two ago I launched a new blog and did everything by the book with daily fresh content- high quality and original content. My visitor numbers have jumped sky high!

Question for you, do you submit each of your blog posts to Social Bookmarking sites or do you not bother?

It's nice to hear read what you wrote. It's actually impressive, if it's true. But, the steps you wrote about isn't clear.

To me it sounds like you just said "abra cadabra!" and traffic suddenly poured in.

If it's not much of a bother, it will be more convincing if you provide concise details.

    Still, congratz!

    Thanks,

    Omar

    Great Post astoica.

Content is the way to go for sure!
My website traffic also grew by hundreds
since I have started to update my blog 2-3 times
    a week.
The greatest part is that those who visit the first
time, keep coming back, since they are hungry for
    more information.

    Content is definitely king.

The very first month of my blogs relaunch into a completely different niche, I hit 3,500 unique visitors.
