How Do I Keep My More Professional Subscribers Happy??

I'm worried that if i don't start changing something soon, i will lose of the subscribers on my list that are a little farther ahead in the IM game. I have a lot of newbies on my list, and so far my messages to my list have been tailored to help out the newbies. When it comes to the time when i feel like i need to create a new message for my list, newbie friendly ideas and tips are all that comes to my mind. How do i please my more professional members of my list? They have obviously been at this for awhile so, finding something that's new for them is very hard. Any ideas on what i could do, or where i could go to find dome new info?

When email marketing loses its hay days and turns to be less effective, the first type of list that gets affected is the freebies list.

The best approach would be creating a product, growing customers than subscribers and offer free updates for life instead of freebie downloads.
Expand by creating more quality products

That depends on your product. If you have product is for newbies, then it's good to have them on your list.

But make sure you have newbies. Not freebies

One thing that tends to satisfy people of all levels are case studies.

Newbies like it because it shows them it can be done...
...and pros like it because it gives them some actionable advice.

      Hi Nicolas.

I wouldn't worry about it. Your "professional" subscribers are well aware that everything on the Internet is in constant flux.

Therefore, your point of view is as valid as theirs. More valid perhaps, because you see things which they take for granted. "Beginners mind" is immensely valuable. It's very hard for a person who has been doing something for years to see things the way a beginner does.

So for many reasons, your professionals are interested in your opinion. They want to be able to see their area from a fresh perspective, as you do... and you're likely to be their target audience. So they'll read you for that reason alone. They want to know what beginners need to know, if that makes sense? ;-)

If you want to SELL to professionals, don't bother. The market is small. Here's what I've learned from my years as a ghostwriter of business and other books: the newbie/ beginner/ novice market is HUGE, because new people are constantly entering the ________ (whatever) industry/ profession.

Think of a triangle. The newbies are at the bottom. It's a big audience, and a big market.

Stick with what you're doing. It's working, for many reasons.

      Wishing you much success.. :-)

      Cheers

      Angela

You can learn more advanced marketing techniques, and then teach them to your audience in a very simplified way. Your intention must be to simplify everything and clarify all the obscure points. Many people will like the information you provide, not only newbies, because it will be detailed and easy to understand.

There are so many things happening around in the internet marketing industry. It is almost impossible for someone to know everything. Researching for good content material is worth it to send to your subscribers so that they will be updated and they will be happy about it.

If you are concerned about losing the more advanced IMers on your list. Then, step it up. It is the only thing you can do.

If you're getting complains or getting concerned... why don't you segment your list? Maybe send out a survey and tell them that you want to deliver the best information possible etc... and when you get feedback, you can segment those people into a new campaign but at least that way you can target "newbie" and "advanced" content if required.

    Just a suggestion for you.

The honest answer is that you will help them and help yourself by letting them go.

Those people are not your ideal customers and as you've mentioned yourself, you're finding it hard to satisfy them.

Focus on helping those that are below your own level. There are hundreds of thousands of such people online for you to serve with ease and authenticity.

Drown them in a huge supply of high quality content that they can access anytime. You should create a signature in your emails that links to all kinds of content that they can dig in to.

I'm presuming your list is IM related. How about keeping them updated on the latest products, SEO techniques, google updates... all that kind of stuff... WF is a good place to get that kind of info.
