Launching a clickbank product

I've had some success with a niche blog promoting products as an affiliate but I'd like to launch my own Clickbank product based on the blog. There are a couple of similar products out there but I'm confident that I can improve upon them a lot.

While I have some ideas and experience of being an affiliate I've no idea how to launch and promote my product to other affiliates to increase my sales. Can anyone offer me their experience and tips on creating their own Clickbank product?

Antilles my advice to you is that you should have some buyers ready so as you launch the product on clickbank you should direct them to buy the product. That way you will have a great conversion rate and your product might be picked up by more and more people searching on clickbank for good products to promote.

When I've looked at Clickbank products to promote as an affiliate I guess people might get put off by the idea of promoting a new product that doesn't have a proven track record of sales. So I agree that having buyers already lined up is a good idea.

Mike Hill had some excellent ideas on how to gain momentum before launching a CB product. Since I did not have any plans on launching a product, I did not have to follow through on his ideas, but all the same they were excellent ideas.

Search for his name on this forum.

why dont you look at the similar products advertising and start from there. If you really can make your product better then when customers faced with the choice they will hopefully buy yours.

Give affiliates 75% commission and you'll inevitably have them come look at your sales page. If they like what they see they will begin posting ads to your product. When they make sales ClickBank will automatically give your product a boost. All you have to do is create a great sales page. I'm not doing anything else and still getting a thousand hits per day to my sales page.
You only get one landing page with ClickBank so it MUST be good. I make mine a pitch page, giving priority to the main product, but at the very top I let prospects know they can find a free gift at the bottom of any of the pages for the other products offered.
"If you are here just for the free gifts, That's fine,
All I ask is that you visit each page and ZIP all the
way to the bottom. I'm sure that at least one of
my headlines will catch your eye, but maybe you
    know I'm wrong, Right?"

My wife says I get too cute for my own good,
but it seems to keep the budget balanced.

NOTE: all of these other offers on the pitch page are ClickBank products that my affiliates will earn 75% commission on when sales are made. I never lose sight of the fact that my affiliates are the ones doing all the hard work. Therefore, EVERY free gift is loaded down with more opportunities to buy ClickBank products that my affiliates will earn commissions on.
Same way with the sales.. each product sold is heavily laden with bonus products with a net value ten times higher (together) than the actual product they are buying, and they too have links back to ClickBank products that my affiliates will earn money on.
ClickBank makes all this easy because when an affiliate sends a client to my pitch page they are cookied and consequently, if ANY of my ClickBank products are sold to that client THAT originating affiliate will be credited with the sale. Naturally, I could cheat and throw in another identity seller -- I feel better doing it this way.
My ClickBank merchant name is Browzer and the main product is Be Your Own Banker -- if you want to see the process in action. Buy something and you can see the entire process from beginning to end. Such a deal, right?

I have a network of affiliates that I can put you in touch with. You can get an immediate push by having your pitch on all of their sites at once.
    PM me for details.
