Do I work good as an Amazon associate?

I have site in hair care niche. I have been promoting products for about three months. I write an article weekly on average. I think that I am skilled in on page SEO and even use a software to optimize content. I started with blog commenting two weeks ago to get backlinks and traffic. No forum that allow signature or affiliate links in my niche. My problem is that I have up to ten visitors a day and make only several sales a month. I did not notice any improvement in click rates, conversions and sales since I started with blog commenting. Is three months enough to give up and make general changes or I should work hard this way and be patient?

First think you have got to do is Keyword research. You can use Google Keyword tool to see, there is enough monthly exact search for the keyword you are optimizing your content.

What position are your keywords ranking in the SERPs? Once you've analyzed that can you can determine whether you need to build more backlinks or focus on content.

What way are you promoting the products? Are you promoting them in a review format? How about keywords? Are you using buying keywords?

The hair care niche is very competitive so it seems like lack of traffic is the problem as 10 visitors a day isn't much.

Getting good traffic to niche sites is getting harder and harder these days as Google are stamping down on most autoblog sites.

Have you tried Social Media? if not i would..

You could go for some Youtube traffic, I think hair care is a good niche for video.
