need help downloading sites from server

Hi
I had several sites with slhost.com. They shut down April 10 and I did not get a chance to migrate my sites before they shut down. Is it possible for someone to get those sites back for me somehow even though the server no longer exists?

    in short no. if they the host is gone and you can't login to your hosting account then its all over but the crying.

    however, you might try googling your site. There may still be an archived copy there. it wont be easy to just download and re-upload, but you might be able to retrieve some stuff.

    also, you might try this site and see if they have your site archived.

      You don't have copies of your content on your computer? Like when you create web pages, don't you use html editors to create the sites? If yes, you might have copies on your computer itself.

        Most people don't backup / download their stuff I.E.a blog, with it's content, and/or mysql database stuff etc. I used to be that way and think "yeah I'll do it one of these days"... you can almost guess the end of that story can't you.

    Fortunately the host seems to be online and you should ask them for a backup, if your site is not accessible any more. This is your right and take action immediately.
