Why Every WSO (Warrior Special Offer) I Bought This Year Made Me Money (And Last Year Too)

Warriors,

There doesn't seem to be a week that goes by whereby someone doesn't complain about some of the bad WSOs out there or that a WSO didn't work for them. There's a time and place for that.....

........but today I'd like to give the flipside of that perspective because every WSO I invested in this year has made me money. Okay, so I've only purchased 2 WSOs this year so far and BOTH have made me money (this is not an open invitation to ask me which ones, what's important here is how I got there). Last year I invested in 3 of them and they all made me money.

Here's why:

1. I don't buy WSOs for the sake of buying them, out of sheer curiosity, or just to take a peek inside. I buy them with the INTENT of fully implementing them. I only buy them if:
a. I can build another income stream from it.
b. It can enhance my existing enterprises.
If it doesn't meet either of these two criteria, I don't buy it. It makes WSO buying a whole lot easier.

2. BEFORE I invest in ANY WSO I click on the seller's information, where he or she is from (sometimes they don't give that information out), and I read about a dozen or so of their posts. I want to see what kind of person they are, their temperment, etc.

I'm looking for trends.

If they have any past WSOs, I go into those threads and I read every single post made by people who have left feedback. Sometimes it's painful to do that with some of the cheezy testimonials, but I'm sure you feel me.

3. I generally don't buy WSOs right away (personal choice btw) unless I already know the seller from previous purchase(s); otherwise I wait for people to come back to the thread and leave feedback. Contrary to what some people have written, the mods DO allow negative feedback as long as it's objective and constructive.

I don't mind paying a slightly higher price by waiting a few days or a couple of weeks. Another thing I do is I contact the people who leave feedback and ask them if they are using the WSO product or service, that gives me additional insight.

My last WSO that I invested in was already more than 6 months old, but the overwhelming positive feedback, the seller's willingness to answer my questions, and his refund policy made it no-brainer.

4. Ask the seller questions if their sales copy is blind or unclear in anyway. Many of them WILL answer your questions but only via their support desk, PM, or email (depending on how they set it up to contact them).

5. Is there a money-back guarantee? Is it 30 days? 90 days? If it's 30 days then it is assumed that by implementing the knowledge of the WSO that you should get results in 30 days or less.

If there is no stated refund policy contact and it's unclear if there is one or not, contact the seller and ask them if they have one.

I generally don't buy WSOs without a guarantee because that tells me the seller isn't confident in their product or service. However, there are some exceptions to this. Like some services are non-refundable and that's understandable (some coaching types of services, copywriting, graphic design, etc.).

6. Common sense - Just because someone made $26,732 last month using their own system, that doesn't mean you will. In many cases, there's a lot more to those figures than meets the eye. Take income claims with a grain of salt. Focus more on the seller's reputation and the feedback they are getting.

7. Don't sit on the information - One of the biggest mistakes I see people make is that they buy a WSO and then the next day or next week they buy another one.

Sometimes they don't even finish the first one.

If you invest in a WSO and it's literally crap, then don't be afraid to ask for your money back. I'm talking about if it's really crap, not that you didn't take action on it and that you THINK it's crap. Big difference.

8. If A Seller Or A Poster is breaking the rules, please use the report post icon. The mods cannot catch everything and what makes this community better is if we use the report post icon which is underneath every member's name.

If you see a seller breaking the WSO rules or even a poster, use that report post icon. This will alert the mods and we will all be better for it.

For most of the WSOs that are like $7 or $17 I use my Paypal account. But I once invested in a WSO that cost me $2,000 and I used my credit card from my bank because it had awesome fraud protection. The guy didn't deliver on his service and he didn't want to refund me, which was silly because I contacted my bank and got my money back.

Don't use your Paypal account for high ticket WSOs or services.

This should help you out in the buying process.

Fellow Warriors feel free to chime in and add to what I've written here as I think it will benefit the newcomers to the WSO forum.

Excellent tips Rod. I guess we should all read #1 and start with that. Many times I have been guilty of buying a WSO with the idea I will come back to it and it ends up setting on my hard drive with other things I have not gotten back to as well.

I think this is something everyone should take care of.
Buying something without having any intentions of implementing them is just waste of time.
I wanted to see if I can build any other source of income and for that sake I bought 4-5 WSOs recently, all of them are lying in my email box, after initial readings, I never touched them which is just complete waste of money.

I will certainly take care of your advice, only buy when you have serious intentions of implementing them.

I used to buy WSO's just because I thought I would need them someday, such as a traffic method I wanted to use. Now If I haven't finished a WSO and taken action I don't buy another one but it sure did take some time to stop the cycle.

Although I do occasionally buy a WSO that is related to what I am already doing. I am glad I did recently because it filled in the details the first WSO creator didn't cover.

This is a great bit of advice. I used to flit from system to system without really putting the plan into action. Instead I would make up excuses about why this system wasn't right for me and look for the next shiny thing to try out.

Gotta get into action to see results.

Thanks for the very timely advice Rod.

I have been burned a couple of times with WSO's.
Had I followed your advice I would have saved myself some heart ache as well as money.
Knowing the person you are buying from is always a big plus.

But knowing the seller's history, posts and background can save you from making the wrong choice.

    Thanks for this great advice.

I just want to highlight this because this will be a point which is seriously overlooked in this thread, this is extremely important and a great way of protecting yourself. Thank you Rod!

    Great post Rod ...

I have been buying some WSO's in the past with no success at all, but then i focused myself and i am now consistent with one WSO for the last 3 months and things are happening now ...

I think consistency is the key here as you mentioned ....

Thanks Rob for the tips about purchasing WSO's. I'm pretty new to network marketing and I bought just about every WSO that came across my email, some were good, some were not. But I had to learn the hard way. I will start taking your advise that you listed above which will help me out tremendously. Thanks for the tip!

I remember someone saying you shouldn't buy something because they sought you out. That you should buy because you sought it out.

I know I've fallen for the trap of clicking on links and buying something because it pushed the curiosity buttons and hit home on some hopes and dreams.... which only led to distraction and disarray.

Now I have to ask myself if I really need it and if it can wait a few days. 9 times out of 10 I've forgotten about the product a couple of hours later which pretty much answers that question.

Thank you for this useful post! I stopped buying WSOs after having a big deception with one of them. Now I will follow your guidance and learn how to choose.

    Rod,

So hang on, finally someone uses a little bit of common sense and takes responsibility for their own buying actions and you say that actually helps?

Great post. These are the sorts of things every buyer should be doing rather than buying things as soon as they land on a page and complaining about them later. If people were more careful about their buying decisions there would be less refunds and less people calling scam.

Thanks for sharing the great tips. I personally would only purchase WSO if it will help me to grow my current business. If I am able to learn one new knowledge from the product and it is actionable, I feel that the product is worth its price.

Of course, it will be better to have the mindset to be prepared to put in the required time and effort to make it work.

Rod, Excellent post. Very informative. I think #5 is the key. Like you said, if the seller is offering a money back guarantee then they do have confident that their product is good.

Purchasing via of paypal is also good as you said. I received refunds back many times from paypal on products that did not deliver on their promises.

    Thanks
    Andrew

    Great post Rod.

I very rarely buy WSO's anymore. Simply because so many of them have been a complete let down. Even some of the 'most respected' marketers WSO's I have just thought what a load of fluff.

When looking at WSOs I also do not bother reading the first few reviews. These are usually part of the hype (and you can tell from what the reviews say and HOW they say it) so wait for the more honest reviews to come in.

Excellent post, a newbie could save a forytune just impementing a couple of those steps.

This is solid advice. Thanks, Rod. People who whine about WSO usually DID NOT TAKE ACTION. If you don't act and you don't focus, you don't have the right to complain. PERIOD.
