Monetizing 10 million impressions per month

So I have some old communities that are still very active and after some pretty good initial success selling my own advertising, I decided to apply to buysellads.com. Unfortunately, the initial application was rejected. I've got 10 million impressions coming from 200,000 uniques per month. Any ideas?

  • I just did a blog post about this, and how it's utterly critical to be clear on your monetization strategy before starting anything.

    The best thing to do in your situation is to run a survey and see what type of stuff they are interested in and create offers based around those things, or find affiliate offers you can promote as an affiliate .
  • Yes, we are doing affiliate and direct sales with success, but it "appears" we would be competitive with sites on the buysellads network that make more than we do currently, hence my interest.

  • Have you tried Cranky Ads by Yaro Starak? Its a young growing network that was founded by a successful blogger.
  • Can't you contact them, as ask directly why you got rejected? A lot of this sort of stuff is just a catch all response that you may not fit into?
